Regulile comunității
Versiunile obligatorii ale regulilor comunității sunt cea cehă și cea engleză; mai jos este versiunea în engleză.
- Version: 2.3
- Effective from: 2026-10-19
- Operator: ConsultX s.r.o., ID 08973288, registered office Doln Dobrou 149, 561 02 Doln Dobrou
- Point of contact (Arts. 11 and 12 Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, DSA): info@consultx.cz; content report form: https://snapisodes.cz/ro/report/. Languages: Czech, English.
- Change log: 2.1 – first text for publication; applies from the launch of internet sharing (part of version 2.1 of the terms and privacy policy).
1. Purpose and scope
1.1 These rules supplement the Snapisodes Terms of Sale and Terms of Use. They set out which content and conduct we do not allow in shared episodes, how to report content, how we decide and how you can appeal.
1.2 They apply to content you post or make available to other members in a shared episode (photos, videos, comments, names, descriptions, invitations) and to conduct towards other members, including outside the app where connected with sharing.
1.3 Sharing between nearby phones (directly between phones) runs without our server; there we have no technical ability to act and you and the members of the episode are responsible. The measures described below concern sharing over the internet.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
2.1 It is prohibited to post or do the following:
- a) unlawful content under EU and Czech law, including content infringing third-party rights;
- b) child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any sexualising content involving children – zero tolerance, reported to the authorities (Art. 18 DSA);
- c) intimate content without consent: nude or sexual images of persons without their consent, including content created or altered by artificial intelligence; pornographic and explicit sexual content altogether;
- d) harassment, bullying and doxxing: repeated unwanted contact, humiliation, publishing others' personal data (address, school, workplace) or the location of persons, especially children, without their consent;
- e) hate, violence and threats, glorification of violence, blackmail, promotion of extremism or terrorism, instructions for criminal activity;
- f) fraud and abuse: impersonating another person or the operator, obtaining money or data;
- g) infringement: uploading others' copyrighted content or others' photos without authorisation;
- h) disrupting the service: malware, exploiting vulnerabilities, circumventing limits and quotas, mass automated use of the server.
2.2 We may restrict unlawful content and also content that violates these rules even though it is lawful; we state the difference in the statement of reasons.
2.3 Do not repeatedly invite someone who has declined your invitation.
3. Photos, locations and data of third parties and children
3.1 Share only photos you have rights to and which show you or persons who consent. Do not share photos of strangers evidently taken without their knowledge (Secs. 84–88 Civil Code – protection of likeness and privacy).
3.2 Children. Do not share photos or data of other people's children without the consent of their legal guardians. Share photos of your own children only with people you know; never publish them with location, school or name.
3.3 Location. By default the app removes the GPS coordinates from the copies for members when sharing. If you switch them on, you are responsible for ensuring that the members may know the location. Copies that a member has already received cannot be recalled.
3.4 Do not share sensitive data of third parties (health, address, ID and account numbers, images of documents).
3.5 A person shown in a photo may request its removal via the contact point or the form under Art. 5; we verify identity and decide without undue delay.
4. Age
4.1 The service is intended for persons aged 16 and over; you confirm your age on first launch. Not meeting the age is grounds for blocking access to the server.
4.2 Content endangering children (CSAM, luring) is handled as a priority, without delay and with notification to the authorities.
5. Reporting content (Art. 16 DSA)
5.1 Anyone (even without an account and without the app) may report content they believe is unlawful or violates these rules: in the app (Report at an episode or photo), via the form https://snapisodes.cz/ro/report/, or by e-mail to info@consultx.cz.
5.2 What to include in the report: (a) a sufficiently substantiated explanation of why the content is considered unlawful or in breach of the rules; (b) the exact location (episode or object ID, invitation link, screenshot); (c) the reporter's name and e-mail (except for reports of child sexual abuse offences, where not required); (d) a statement of good-faith belief in the accuracy of the information.
5.3 We confirm receipt without undue delay with a report number. Target handling times: serious cases (danger to life, health, child safety, CSAM, threats) within 24 hours, others within 7 days. We inform the reporter of the decision, its reasons and the possibility of appeal. A report made in the app (Report) is handled within 7 days; its receipt and the outcome are shown in the app under “My reports”.
5.4 Suspected criminal offences threatening life or safety are reported to the competent authorities (Art. 18 DSA); CSAM is reported and evidence preserved as required by law.
5.5 Users in the United Kingdom report content and make complaints through the same channels (sections 5.1 and 6.4); we also follow the Online Safety Act 2023 and keep our risk assessment according to Ofcom guidance.
6. How we decide, statement of reasons and appeal
6.1 What we can do. Content in shared episodes is end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read it; we decide on the basis of reports and circumstances. Technically we can delete the object or episode concerned on the server, invalidate a mailbox or device, and restrict a device's access to the server. We cannot delete copies on members' phones. On the basis of a substantiated report we delete the object or episode concerned.
6.2 Statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA). If we restrict content or access, we give the affected user, through the app (on the next connection to the server, because we hold no e-mail address), a clear statement of reasons: what was restricted and for how long; the facts and circumstances of the decision and whether it followed a third-party report or our own findings (we do not disclose the reporter's identity if that would endanger them); the legal ground or the specific rule; whether the decision was automated; the redress options. We do not give reasons where law or an authority forbids it.
6.3 Records. Decisions (who, when, which rule, reasons) are recorded and kept for 3 years; personal data in the record is minimised.
6.4 Appeal. Request a review of the decision within 14 days of notification via the Feedback Hub or at info@consultx.cz. The review is carried out, where possible, by a person other than the one who decided, and we decide usually within 14 days. Both the reporter and the affected user may appeal. An unjustified restriction is lifted without delay.
6.5 Out-of-court settlement. You may turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under Art. 21 DSA (list kept by the European Commission); we are not obliged to take part in the proceedings but will consider them. The right to go to court is unaffected.
7. Sanctions
7.1 Depending on seriousness, repetition and intent, we usually apply progressively: a warning and request for remedy; deletion of the object or episode concerned; restriction of server features for a set period; temporary suspension of access to the server; permanent blocking of the device.
7.2 Serious cases (CSAM, serious threats, fraud) may lead to immediate blocking without prior warning and to notification of the authorities.
7.3 Sanctions are proportionate. If blocking is for reasons on our side or a restriction was unjustified, we refund the pro-rata part of the subscription; for serious breach by the user, the subscription is not refunded unless law provides otherwise.
8. Protection against misuse of reporting (Art. 23 DSA)
Manifestly unfounded reports, repeated abusive reports and repeated posting of manifestly unlawful content may, after a prior warning, lead to temporary suspension of processing reports from the person concerned, or of access to the server. Suspension is notified with reasons and the possibility of appeal under Art. 6.4.
9. Cooperation with authorities and transparency
9.1 Orders from authorities to act against unlawful content and to provide information (Arts. 9 and 10 DSA) are received at info@consultx.cz; we handle them as required by law within the stated time and inform the affected user unless the order prohibits it.
9.2 We publish these rules at https://snapisodes.cz/ro in all versions with effective dates. As a micro or small enterprise we are exempt from transparency reports under Art. 15 DSA, but we still publish at least an annual summary of the number of reports received, objects deleted and devices blocked.
9.3 We inform of significant changes to these rules in the app and on the website at least 30 days in advance (Art. 14(2) DSA).
10. Liability and the user's content
10.1 The user who posted content is responsible for it. The Operator, as a hosting provider, is not liable for content whose unlawfulness it was not aware of, and acts without delay once aware (Art. 6 DSA).
10.2 The content remains yours; you grant us no licence other than the technical processing necessary for sharing (Terms of Sale and Use, Art. 7).
